Neck Exercises



This first section of exercises should be done sitting in front of a mirror so that you can make sure you keep the head and neck in a good neutral position.

Isometric Neck Exercises

1- Place your hand on your forehead and without allowing the head to move, apply some pressure to the forehead until you feel the front neck muscles tightening.
Hold for the count of ________ then relax.

Isometric neck exercises

2- Place your hand on the right side of your head and without allowing the head to move, apply some pressure to your head until you feel the right side neck muscles tightening.
Hold for the count of ________ then relax.

Isometric Exercises

3- Place your hand on the left side of your head and without allowing the head to move, apply some pressure to your head until you feel the left side neck muscles tightening.
Hold for the count of ________ then relax.

Isometric Neck Exercises

4- Place your hand on the back of your head and without allowing your head to move, apply some pressure to the back of your head until you feel the back neck muscles tightening. Hold for the count of ________ then relax.
